The 2017 Bauer Nexus N7000 Grip Stick are one of the lighter and more balanced options found at this price point. Bauer looked to further improve on one of the most popular flex profiles in NHL by allowing players to load the shaft easier for a quicker and harder release. They were able to achieve this by building the shaft with 14% more rounded corners and a stiffer, more aggressive taper.

Also improved this year is the BiMax 3K carbon fiber found in the blade. This unique, flat-weave carbon is significantly stronger and more durable than standard carbon. This protects the Dual-Density blade core that has a dampened puck feel, ideal for stickhandling and catching hard passes.
