The 2017 Bauer Nexus N8000 Grip Stick utilizes a full pro-inspired 3K carbon fiber shaft and a special BiMax flat-weave carbon fiber blade wrap. These two combine to provide a well-balanced, lightweight feel in the hands with plenty of responsivness. The entire Nexus line utilizes new tooling, which lead way to new shaft dimensions and a thinner taper which allows for the stick to load quicker and more efficiently than ever before.

Compared to the previous generation, the N8000 has 14% more rounded corners and a significantly more aggressive taper. This allows the x-axis of the shaft to loader quicker which speeds up the load & release rate while increasing shot power and accuracy. This improves upon one of the most pro-requested flex profiles in the NHL today that was built off of a traditional mid-kick point but has been softened at the ends for one of the most well-rounded kick point on the market.

The flat-weave BiMax carbon fiber wraps a Dual Density blade core that gives players pin-point feedback on the puck's location on the blade and dampening vibrations when receiving passes or taking shots. Pure Shot Blade Profile prevents the blade face from opening up on big shots or passes since it reinforces the connection point between the blade and the shaft. When the blade face stays square to the target, deadly accuracy soon follows.
