The 2017 Bauer Nexus N9000 Grip Stick debuts an elite-level construction process called MonoComp for the first time ever at this price point since its typically only found on flagship Bauer sticks. The MonoComp process eliminates the fusion point during construction, which makes energy transfer more efficient, provides a lighter, more consistent finished product that's lighter and better balance too!

The PowerSense 2 blade core is another feature typically reserved for top end sticks. This additional Sense layer is directly integrated into the outer layer of the pro-spec 12K carbon fiber where it enhances puck feel and prevents the blade from premature breakdown or chipping. Connecting the N9000's blade to the shaft is additional material reinforcement called Pure Shot Blade Profile that ensures pin-point accuracy by keeping the blade face square to the target time and time again.

The shaft itself features pro-spec 12K carbon that is commonly found on pro-stock sticks. What's new for the shaft is the re-designed shaft shape that features 14% more rounded corners and a much thinner taper. These work in conjunction with a strategically engineered flex profile that is one of the most popular pro-options in the NHL because of how versatile and well-rounded it is. Regardless of where the lower hand is placed, the Nexus N9000 provides a deadly quick and powerful release.
