Overview

The Labeda Gripper Millennium Hockey Wheel has been a consistent benchmark against which all other hockey wheels are evaluated. The Millennium has been at the forefront of multi-layer urethane technology, having Labeda's uniquely crafted grip formula with their superior rebound urethane core. The innovative flex-design core responds to side-loads, optimizing the footprint and grip surface to firmly bite into the skating surface.

Ideal Playing SurfaceSport Court, Hockey Tiles
Product NoteDEK tile or similar non-hockey perforated tiles provide less wheel contact surface area. As a result, using wheels on these surfaces has less grip and will wear down quicker.

Sizing Chart

HOCKEY WHEEL HARDNESS GUIDELINES
Roller hockey wheel hardness or durometer should be decided on factors like a player's weight, skill level and playing surface. The higher the durometer rating, the harder the wheel. For example, an 82A wheel is perfect for rough outdoor surfaces while a 76A wheel excels indoors. More advanced players can also benefit from harder wheels since they can utilize the extra rebound and speed.

Great wheelsI play on indoor tile twice a week. I am about 160 pounds. Love these wheels.

Amazing even in the rainI'm an avid street skater who seeks out rough, uneven terrain. I skate pretty hard (as per my modest but increasing ability) and rely on drags and hockey stops for most of my braking and stopping. I skate in all weather, including rain and snow. The Shooters are fast, grippy (even in rain!) and wear slowly. I don't know what other properties I would want in a wheel. They feel lively underfoot, unlike several other kinds I've had. I've used 80mm wheels from Flying Eagle, Gyro, Rollerblade, and Seba, and I'd choose the Shooters even if they were the same price as those (they are MUCH cheaper). The only wheels I've had that were as good as these were a set of Labeda Asphalt Grippers 85A. The Shooters are, quite frankly, a mystery. Why are the best wheels out there also the cheapest? I hope they never stop making them.

Not for heavy or aggressive skatersI bought the wmo2 skates and the skates are fantastic!! Except the wheels, I'm very aggressive with my skates and I have had them for only about a week and I've already began to de-hop my wheels I do not recommend these wheels for heavy set skaters or aggressive hockey skaters! If you like recreational skating or your under 150 pounds these wheels are pretty good and have great grip and improved my hockey stops by a few feet but, not for aggressive skaters

Great gripThese wheels have great grip and decent durability, but can chip easily on wood floors when stoping. Had them for 3 months and to change wheels out. Still would buy again because that was a great 3 months!

Great wheel for speedGot these as my first wheels when I was somewhat new to skating. Right out of the box, they had great traction and flexed just right. Perfect for speed, and sharp turns come together nicely. They are more of a rounded wheel so toe work is a little difficult on them. However, I do not recommend them for hockey play or aggressive skating. They crack super easily since they are so soft, and they burn after enough stops.

Grippy as heckSo you're wanting to have a wheel that grips and makes a larger contact patch under load, these will do it. They're really soft for my body weight, but anyone in the 175lb-200lb is going to love these if you need to stick to the floor. I used to skate Hyper Formula G's in the early 2000s and these are just as grippy. I love the color style on them too. The clear wheel with the colored center makes for a cool look at the rink.
