Bauer gave these shields the exclusive "QUICK-CLIP ll" feature allowing you to replace your shields without a tool while keeping that pro look. The Contrast Management Technology utilizes the different color tint for different lighting. The Amber color performs better in dim lighting and the Smoke color performs better in bright lighting but it is all personal preference. The Bauer V Half Shield is a an affordable solution to buying a half shield. The V half shield is made out of high-impact Polycarbonate visor, and has an opening at the top of the visor that allows for unobstructed airflow. The half shield is about 3.5" wide across the whole shield.
