The Reebok 4K hockey shoulder pads offer good protection and mobility with a lightweight feel.

The 4K shoulder pads are the most affordable shoulder pads from Reebok with the Kinetic Fit System (KFS).  Reebok's goal with the KFS system is to produce hockey pads that move with the player, to offer superior mobility without compromising protection.  The 4K shoulder pads feature a two panel design in the front and back.  Reebok has used one panel for the stomach and rib region and a separate panel for the chest.  These two panels are connected by elastic allowing a player's shoulders and chest to move while the stomach portion stays secured in place.  This same design can be found on the back portion of the pad, with one panel for the upper back and another panel for the lower back and ribs.

The 4K shoulder pads feature lower profile shoulder caps, that do not rest too high on the shoulders.  Reebok has also given these pads plastic reinforcements over the shoulder blades.  This is a nice touch that is not seen on many other shoulder pads in the same price range.  Another relatively small but nice feature this pad offers is the cut on the bicep protector.  Instead of cutting them straight across Reebok has given these pads a diagonal cut to allow a better fit with a players elbow pads.  These bicep guards are a little on the long side, however they are adjustable.
