The CCM Extreme Flex II Pro Goalie Catcher utilizes the extremely advanced D3O® technology as well as various other high quality materials to produce a catcher that has professional level performance and protection. The D3O® material is used in the palm, and is designed to improve shock absorption and reduce rebounds with better efficiency than ever before.

The CCM Extreme Flex II Pro catcher is constructed from extremely durable Jenpro leather that is used throughout the high wear areas. The Jenpro is also used on the new Extreme Flex II graphics for an authentic pro look. The E-Flex II Pro also uses injected resin around the catcher that provides superior durability to traditional abrasion resistant nylon, while also being a lighter material. The cuff on the Extreme Flex II Pro has an open flared one piece design. The new one piece construction provides maximum coverage while also producing more predictable rebounds, while the flared cuff allows for better wrist mobility. Internal protection comes from the new D3O® technology as well as HD, EPE, and PE foams. The D3O® technology in the palm is a highly advanced new foam that reacts to impacts based on their severity. This means that a slap shot causes the molecules to react faster, and creates a rebound that's similar to what a wrist shot would produce. This consistency cannot be overstated, as nothing is more important than a goaltender being able to trust his or her gear. CCM's Suregrip inner palm area improves overall durability and maintains a textured grip for improved control even when wet.

The backhand protection has been re-designed to be more comfortable and efficient. The three strap design has a padded nylon wrist strap, a leather backhand strap, and a velcro finger strap. The new curved thumb makes closing the catcher easier and helps direct pucks into the pocket.

The Extreme Flex II Pro catcher takes the extremely well received E-Flex series design and improves on it in many ways, making this catcher an excellent purchase for any goaltender who expects the most from their gear.
