Cut Protection Level

The CCM Extreme Flex PRO Goalie Leg Pads are new for 2013 and offer outstanding pro level protection and performance features that are designed for the hybrid style goaltender. CCM's top of the line Extreme Flex Pro leg pads are constructed with top grade internal and external materials designed to reduce weight while adding durability and performance.
The CCM Pro goalie leg pads are constructed with extremely durable top of the line Jenpro leather. CCM's Extreme Flex graphics are stitched on the face of the pad using the same Jenpro leather material for the high quality pro look. Materials lining the inner side include upgraded 420 D nylon and upgraded grey Nash leather on the leg and boot channels improving pad rotation and moisture wicking.
Lightweight internal foams including injection molded EPE foams are used throughout Extreme Flex Pro CCM goalie pads increasing protection and performance without additional weight. The lightweight foam core insert used on the CCM Pro leg pads provide the internal structure, maximizing the surface area and helps prevent the pads from sagging over time. The Extreme Flex Pro CCM goalie leg pad outer roll is offered in either single or double break depending on goalie preference. The single break below the knee creates a goalie leg pad that is less flexible but improves five-hole coverage where as the double break above and below the knee allows maximum flexibility for goaltenders that prefer a softer pad. These pads also come with an upgraded adjustable under-pant thigh protector for increased knee and thigh protection. The materials and foam inserts on the three-piece knee stack system are upgraded with Nash leather and improved foams for a higher level of protection and quality. The Knee stack keeps the goaltenders knee elevated, reducing overall joint stress and allows for increased leg extension while in the butterfly position. CCM's narrow leg channel design allows the pad to rotate when dropping down as well as contours the shin and skates for precise pad movements and control. CCM's three-piece segmented calf wrap design is upgraded on the CCM Pro pads by using dual medium density foams that provide additional calf protection and comfort. CCM's nylon, elastic and leather strapping systems allows the goaltender to adjust the leg pad for a customized fit.
