The Bauer Nexus 1000 Hockey Gloves are the highest-end model in the Nexus glove line-up. Bauer used their best materials and construction such as double density foams with EPP for the highest level of protection. The liner received a solid upgrade with the top of the line Thermo Max+ liner that is soft to the touch and does a great job of keeping the hands dry.
The Nexus 1000 gloves are based off of the traditional 4 roll design with excellent modern day materials. The protection of this glove is powered by the internal foam construction using double density foams including the lightweight and highly protective EPP foam. EPP foam is found in many of today's helmets while the use of double density foams do an excellent job of dispersing impact energy before it reaches the hand.
Bauer used it's best liner called the Thermo Max+ liner because of it's ability to wick away moisture keeping a player's hand as dry as possible. The Pro Ivory Max+ Palm is one of the best palms offered from Bauer and is the most preferred palm by pro's. This palm provides an excellent stick feel and maintains a high level of durability.
