The Easton E600 Hockey Helmet offers a great balance between value and performance.  Easton has taken the look and fit of the E700 with a slightly different shell construction.  The E600 helmet features a two-piece shell with a full coverage EPP foam liner providing you with exceptional protection.

Easton used 2 different materials on the E600 shell.  A polycarbonate shell with a high-density polyethylene subshell provide multi-impact durability while maintaining a sleek low-profile design.  A full coverage EPP foam liner makes this helmet extremely light but highly protective with crush resistant properties.

For the fit, Easton utilized the Giro Fit System. The Fit System is used in world class bike and snowboard helmets. This adjustable, elastic fit system in the back of the helmet provides a superior fit that fits close and snug to the head and prevents the helmet from moving around. Inside the helmet are removable and washable comfort pads for a comfortable and snug fit. Secured by velcro, these pads offer a personalize fit.

Comments: Very comfortable helmet. Probably most comfortable I have owned. (NBH 9500, Bauer 4500, CCM v08)
I added some extra Velcro to secure the internal pads in place however. They retain a lot of sweat and I didn't want to have an issue of them falling out because of it. That little bit works great and I have no complaints. Great buy at this discounted price.

Comments: Perfect fit, Awesome comfort. The E600 is just the perfect helmet for me. The fit is great and the ability to switch out the interior comfort pads is a huge plus. My Bauer 4500 helmet lining started to come out and there was just nothing I could do to fix it, so I pretty much had no choice but to buy a new helmet. But with E600 I do not have that same problem. I can just put another pad set in and I am ready to go. The Giro fit system was huge surprise to me as well. It sounded a little gimicky to me until I actually tried my helmet on. The fit was just unbelievable and I really liked how the Giro system adjusted and the fit felt more natural than I would normally get from a traditional two piece helmet. In short, I feel very comfortable and very well protected when I am wearing this helmet out on the ice. If you are unsure of the E600, just try one on and you will never look at another helmet the same again.

Comments: Great helmet! The comfort is fantastic. I had the popular Bauer 4500 but only used it for about 10 games. The padding was so hard it gave me a headache once it was off. This helmet is the polar opposite! First of all it's much lighter. The fit system by Giro makes fitting the helmet very easy. Also the protective inner is foam similar to what is used in bicycle helmets. This is what contributes to the light weight. Soft fit pads feel great. One note, make sure you get the right size. While the Giro system is easy to adjust, the helmet isn't as adjustable as a two piece sliding helmet. Other than that one issue it's fantastic.
