The Bauer Nexus 8000 Hockey Stick is the premier offering in the Nexus Line, where tradition meets innovation. The 8000 utilizes a classic mid kick flex profile that combines the benefits of both the Supreme NXG and the Vapor APX2, allowing a player to quickly get a hard shot off from any angle, at any time. This flagship model showcases Bauer's new PowerSense Blade Core that maximizes puck feel and durability.

The Nexus 8000's Tru Mid Kick Flex profile has evolved from the Nexus 1000's previous design, giving players a much more responsive feel through a softened upper handle and lower hosel. The shaft itself was constructed with a handful of Bauer's signature technologies; such as their eLASTech Resin, TeXtreme Carbon Fiber™ and their true one-piece Monocomp design. The TeXtreme Carbon is 20% lighter than traditional carbon fiber while the eLASTech Resin reinforces the stick; keeping it feeling newer longer and preventing minor cracks from growing.

The all-new PowerSense Blade Core is lighter and has a better feel for the puck because it uses higher grade foams than the previous 1000. The big change in the blade is the addition of the "Sense" Layer that was first debuted on the Vapor APX 2 blade. This new layer is directly integrated into the blade's material, drastically increasing puck feel and preventing premature blade breakdown.

Comments: Was using NXG limited Edition. Loved the stick but it went soft. I recently purchased and MX3 extension plug so I could use my Nexus 8000 which I also got from IceWarehouse.com. Once I started using it, I could feel a difference. As a D man, I need a stick that I could load up them pick Slappers. This stick does everything I could ask for. Love the stick. Hope to expect the same with the 1N. Getting it for Christmas.
