For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The EQ50 hockey stick features a customizable weighted end-plug to ensure the ultimate balanced feel even when cutting down the stick length. The EQ50 is the evolution of the SE16 hockey stick taking the Focus Weight Technology™ to the next level by making it visible and customizable.
The Easton EQ stick line features the Focus Weight Technology™ to offer the ultimate feel and puck control. Focus Weight Technology™ concentrates materials in the heel of the blade to aid in puck control by helping keep the puck on the blade and control tough passes. The weighted heel also delivers more power and velocity making your shot unstoppable. Easton has made the weight in heel visible on the new EQ sticks. The EQ50 stick features the 15 gram visible weight in the heel.
Easton has continued to use their premier construction on the EQ 50 stick. The EQ50 stick features a Kevlar wrap to increase durability and vibration dampening. Similar to the ST stick the EQ50 stick features a some what see through graphics allowing for the carbon material underneath to show through given the stick a cool unique look.
Bottom line if you were a fan of the popular SE16 you wont be let down by the EQ50 which offers a similar feel with the added benefit of a customizable balance point.
