Bauer also gave the X900 skate with pro-preferred LS3 steel that is taller than LS2 or Fusion runners, providing a stronger overall build with a longer sharpening life. 

The coveted Curv™ composite quarter debuts Bauer's new X-Rib design that is derived from the OD1N Concept Skate. The updated structure provides unparalleled support and stability that's necessary for extreme agility and stride power. Connected to the quarter is a full lightweight composite outsole that ensures maximum energy transfer during the skating process. 

The Form Fit+ 48 oz/40 oz white felt tongue provides a traditional feel backed by professional protection. Its construction is nearly identical to the previous APX2 tongue and it's molded plastic insert that protects and prevents lace-bite.
