The Warrior Diablo hockey sticks are one step down from Warrior's premier Widow hockey sticks. The Diablo sticks share a very similar design as the Widow sticks, both coming with the Warrior Dagger tapper for a lower flex point and whippier feel. Biggest difference between the Widow and Diablo is the Diablo has a fused one-piece construction giving the stick a slightly less responsive lively feel some players prefer.
Warrior has given the Diablo stick the D-Lite blade core which is the evolution of the Double D blade core. Using a double density internal polymer core, D-lite technology allows for a very stable heel and base area which transitions to a very light and springy mid-toe area. The center of gravity of the blade is also moved closer to the heel area, which makes the blade feel lighter but does not affect stability at impact. Taper hosel area is hollow, allowing for more weight savings. Additional aramid internal blade cap helps impact durability and prolongs blade life.
Warrior has also introduced the Dagger Taper Technology to the Diablo hockey stick to offer a lower flex point than ever before with even more pop. The Dagger Taper keeps the hand area stiffer and allows the stick to flex lower in the shaft and blade area as well as in the upper handle. This loads and releases the shaft and blade together for more flex and better pop on slap shots, snap shots and wrist shots.
The Warrior Diablo hockey sticks are a great choice and offer an excellent jump in performance from more traditional designed stick such as the Warrior KGB stick.

Previous Feedback
Comments: I really love this stick. To be honest, I was quite concerned about the durability but so far I am very pleased. I have had the stick for a little over a month and I love it. I love the feel of the grip version, not too boxy and not too "grippy". Great feel. Puck feels great on the stick and I love stickhandling with it. I will definitely buy another one in the future. I am just a rec player who is trying to improve my game at a late age but I do know this stick is great. The only complaint that I have is cosmetic damage to the stick. The only real damage so far is the blade. Not where I have it wrapped, but the couple inches below the fusion point where it starts to become a different material. It scratches very easily but that isn't a problem really because it is only cosmetic blemishes and not real damage...plus the area is only a few inches. Overall, I'd recommend this stick for sure. I have been quite satisfied with Warrior products thus far.

Comments: One of the better sticks I've used in the last couple years.
I've played with an S19 and RS prior to using this twig and both of
those broke down within the first few months whereas my Warrior has held
up for a year or so. Blade on it is solid and has only recently started
to lose some of the paint. Shaft is good with a nice low-kick to it and
a quick release. The grip on mine is their Velvet Grip style and is a
nice middle-ground between clearcoat finish and some of the stickier
stuff. Definitely recommend this to guys looking for an alternative to
the Mako or Vapor lines.
