The Vaughn VGS 9500 Goalie Stick is Vaughn's lightest foam core goalie stick in their lineup for 2012. The VGS 9500 has been engineered and optimized to achieve the maximum strength and durability keeping the weight comparable to composite sticks.

Vaughn is using Carbon Elite construction with special woven carbon composite and epoxy resin keeping the stick as light as possible. The 9500 goal stick has special composite inserts that are embedded into the foam core adding stiffness and strength. Vaughn is using a traditional Aspen and Birch handle that is specially selected for weight and density to achieve the desired weight and balance. The blade features hard laminated strips and Carbon Elite construction for added strength and durability.

The VGS 9500 Carbon Elite is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a lightweight stick that will last and stay rigid over time. This stick has a traditional wood / foam feel and offers plenty of performance for any goalie playing level.
