The Alkali CA9 hockey girdle is the premier girdle in their line. The CA9 girdle features compression molded protective pads that are sewn into a compression short. Compression molded pads offer increased protection in a compressed, slim design that mold to your body over time. The CA9 girdle features padding in the hip, thigh, and tailbone, combined with a high quality 16 way stretch Lycra short with an elastic waist. The CA9 provides a high level of protection without the traditional bulky feeling.

Comments: I got this for a pond hockey tournament for a little protection from the ruts and cracks of natural ice. It literally saved my rear a few times.No complaints at all.

Comments: I have never worn a girdle before this one and was very reluctant to start wearing one because I like to play with as little protection as possible. These pants are great for just a little protection in the hips and tail bone. They only took me about half a period to get use to before I forgot they were even there.
The only con I have with these is that the cup it comes with is a bit small and rides up a bit. I just replaced it with one that I wore before I bought these and it works just fine.

Comments: Great fit and feel to these shorts. I was basically looking for a little protection for my tailbone and hips, without losing any flexibility. This girdle more than exceeds my expectations... Now just to see if it holds up in the wash.
