Power-Focused Playing Style
This style suits players who thrive on generation strong, top end speed through longer and forceful strides. They come with a stiffer boot that efficiently transfers energy into the rink for maximum power with every stride.Acceleration-Focused Playing Style
For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Bauer IMS 11.0 Hockey Helmet with Cage is the top of the line helmet coming from the IMS line. This awesome helmet blends a handful of the most protective features and technologies found in hockey to date. The advanced level of protection is provided from the redesigned Seven Technology™ and Poron XRD™ foam.
Bauer combined their newly acquired Seven Technology™, which are clusters of 7 cones that efficiently manage high and low impacts, with their most advanced and protective foam, Poron XRD™, to provide a supreme level of protection for the player. The Seven Technology™ strategically reacts to high and low impacts differently, providing the best protection in all situations. The Poron XRD™ foam is utilized in the front of the helmet, acting as a highly protective memory foam while also being perforated to promote ventilation.
Many highly protective helmets sacrifice looks and size to accustom certain features and designs, not the IMS 11.0. This helmet has a low-profile and aggressive look that many pro's prefer. Comments: Starting back in to hockey in my 40's I decided skates and helmet was where to splurge. I am glad I did with the IMS11. It was extremely easy to size, has great ventilation and the Poron makes it feel almost like wearing a hat. The cage has a good angle to it and hasn't interfered with my vision at all, even when wearing glasses. I did hit my head on a fall and didn't have any effects.
