The Bauer Supreme 1500 Goalie Stick is the most affordable stick out of Bauer's lineup, making it a great option for the goalies that like a traditional wood stick.
The shaft of the 1500 goalie stick uses a 19-ply birch laminate to provide great strength and stiffness. The paddle of the Supreme 1500 goal stick is primarily aspen with fiberglass-reinforcement on the sides. The softer aspen wood provides some shock dampening while the fiberglass helps with the strength of the stick. The blade uses a fiberglass wrap to provide additional durability and stiffness to the blade. A nice feature of the 1500 goalie stick is the wearband that runs from the paddle down through the blade on the bottom side. That wearband contains Kevlar® to provide even better durability.
The Bauer Supreme 1500 is a great choice for goalies needing an inexpensive stick that offers great durability.

Comments: These socks are very soft and comfortable. You barely notice you are wearing them on the ice. Great skate sock. I would give them 5 stars. Have not shrunk after washing and drying.

Comments: Great stick. It is a good price, durable, and fairly light for a wood stick. You could get an extra stick and still be less than many comp. sticks. If you are just starting out or a beer leaguer and money is tight then this stick is for you. I am still on my first one from a year of once a week play. Though it is almost at the point of breaking I think, as some of the wood has broken off recently on the paddle facing shooters.

Comments:Okay, first off this is an amazing stick for the price! It is light(for a wood stick) and durable. I definitily recommend this to anyone who is starting and looking for a stick. Also it would be great for anyone in general!
From: Abie
Comments: From what I am lead to believe, this stick is pretty standard as far as
wooden goalie sticks go. It has good balance and holds up extremely
well. There are lighter sticks out there, but for a standard size and
heavyweight construction, you can't beat the price. The fiberglass layer
around the paddle stops right where the paddle does, but there isn't
much wear to that area anyway. IW has options for customization, which
is nice, but I didn't personally find necessary. Overall I would
definitely buy this stick again if I needed to.
