Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

Comments: For the price, this helmet is great. It has a good feel, is adjustable, and is comfortable. I had to adjust the large all the way out to fit my big head, but I have to refute the previous comment about the screws just spinning into nothing. There are silver screw receivers on the inside of the helmet that must line up when you adjust the helmet. When you pull the helmet apart, it's easy for these inside receivers to fall out of place and get stuck under the padding inside the helmet. At first I thought the screws were just spinning into nothing, but then I realized I had to dig these receivers out of the inside and hold them in place once I had the helmet at the right size. It was a little cumbersome, but it worked out eventually and now I have a perfect fitting helmet. No complaints for this price point.

Comments: This helmet fits ok but the screws that come with it do not screw into anything. I have the adult version of a Bauer helmet and it screws in just fine. This one has nothing for the screws to grab onto. I am returning it. Thanks

Comments: I play mens league twice a week and there is no benfit or point in getting a helmet more expensive than this. Its all about the cage. the Bauer tru vision feels like you don't even have a cage on. Most mens leagues are no check, so its not like you need anything over the top or over-protective. Very comfortable and durable. Love it. 5/5

Comments: Great helmet! it is really lightweight for its price. I use it during the house league, and It does not bother me at all. Sometimes it does get a little bit hot in there, but I still manage. It works fine, and it does not slide up and down blocking my vision. The chin cup is really comfortable and soft. During one practice, one of the strap screws fell out of the helmet, so I learned that with lower level helmets always tighten them from time to time. I've gotten checked in the boards, head first and did not feel a thing. There is also not a big sign on the helmet shell. I've gotten whacked with skates and sticks in the cage area and also side and felt fine. Yes, I also did get hit with a puck. I felt a small jolt, but nothing major. Overall, an amazing amazing helmet for this pricepoint!
