The Bauer Vapor APX 2 Ice Hockey Skates have raised the bar in high performance hockey skates. With an all new LightSpeed Edge holder and injected stability lacing system, the Vapor APX 2's allow you to turn tighter than ever before with unparalleled explosive power.
The signature of Bauer Vapor skates has been the X-Rib design that provides excellent structural support and stability through the entire boot. The 3D lasted Curv® Composite upper material is even more thermoformable than the previous Alive material, allowing for a thorough baking process providing a true 360° custom fit. The all-new injected stability lacing system replaces the traditional eyelets with a more durable single one-piece system. This reduces total energy lost in every stride and it can be noticeably felt when exiting turns, accelerating and crossovers.
The Tuuk LightSpeed Edge holder is a big upgrade from the LightSpeed 2 holder on the original APX skate. The Edge Holder sits 3mm taller on the front and back to prevent the skate from bottoming out and the result is a much tighter turning radius. The next improvement is the all-new quick release trigger system for the runners. Out of the box, the Tuuk Fusion runners can be removed in seconds with a pull of a trigger. Never miss a shift because of broken steel or take your game to a new level by carrying around multiple sets of runners sharpened for different rinks.
The Form-Fit 3 tongue is a 3-piece 52 oz. white felt tongue with an integrated abrasion resistant metatarsal guard. The Form-Fit+ footbed with ErgoToe allows for customizable toe protection while assisting in moisture-management and heel stabilizing. The Hydra Max 2 liner with Total Edge comfort helps to wick away moisture and resist abrasions.
