Comments:I recommend this. The Bauer Core Mesh shorts with Jock are a good and cheap solution for protection which fit under your hockey pants. This includes a Mueller cup. The cup fits into a sleeve on the inside of the shorts with velco. The shorts sizing are true to size. I've used these for about a year and wash the shorts once a week. The shorts are in very good shape and have been used for both hockey and softball. This product has lasted very well, if you're looking for a jock and aren't sure if you want a compression setup, get this. You're eventually going to see that the elastic on the sides to the leg is starting to lose its elasticity. This isn't critical as the cup pocket is sewn into the front of the shorts but its starting to show signs of wear.I'm sure the standard washing and wear causes this and is regular wear and tear.

Comments:It's great minus the fact mine ripped within the first couple skates, just took needle and thread to it and its back to perfect condition. 18U AA player

Comments: Standard mesh jock. I was used to using an old Itech mesh jock which had a really nicely designed comfortable cup. The cup that this comes with (at least in size xl) is a bit egregious. It wraps way underneath to the point of being uncomfortable. If you need a lot of protection for super competitive hockey it would probably be ok. For recreational play I'm looking to replace the cup insert with something more comfortable.
