The Bauer Elite Goalie Pants provide elite protection suitable for up to pro roller hockey or advanced ice hockey.
The Bauer Elite goal pants use a heavy duty nylon shell and a full motion mesh crotch design to provide great durability and mobility. The thigh protection that these pants offer uses a large flat face design to offer maximum net coverage and protection. Bauer has used a "V" flex design to allow the pants to conform better to the natural shape of the body.
The Bauer Elite goalie pants use molded foam pieces along with poly inserts to provide great protection without being excessively heavy. On the front of these pants, Bauer uses flex hip panels to provide protection that will move with the body. This pants feature extended lower thigh protectors, that are adjustable or removable, to bridge the gap in protection between the pant and leg pad. Another nice feature of the Elite goal pants is that they have used a tailbone pad that uses a soft foam to absorb impact and a plastic insert to ensure the protection.
Bauer has used a padded interior belt design to allow for a comfortable and snug fit around the waist. The Elite goal pants also use an outer belt and a traditional lacing system to ensure a proper fit. Bauer has used a dense foam roll on the inner side of the pants to help properly position the pants on the thigh. To ensure that you will have a full range of motion with these pants, Bauer has made rear flex cuts in the back of the thigh.
