Overview
The Bauer IMS 5.0 Hockey Helmet with Cage offers high-end looks and features at an affordable price. The IMS 5.0 utilizes a very similar shell shape to the top-of-the-line RE-AKT 100, providing excellent airflow through the ventilation ports. The two-piece shell also comes with a tool-free adjustment design, which is uncommon to find at this price point.
The dual-ridge crown and dual-density foam liner provides players with traditional fit, feel and protection.

Comments: Wearing this helmet in recrational league. Easy to adjust holding up well after 6 months. Head is still in tact so no complaints. Good price for good protection. Only complaint is snaps a super tight but better than too loose

Comments: I have used one of these helmets for Jr bull riding (Jr is deceptive, the bulls still weigh 1200-1500 pounds) and it has held up very well. I am reviewing this helmet mostly because of a wreck I had recently, when a bull ended up stepping on the side of my head. The helmet held up well, with very little visible damage, and prevented any serious injury.

Comments: After 3 seasons of play the helmet has held up. This helmet is decently comfortable for $50 ish. The interior pads are a little stiff at first but broke in in about a half season. The cage is super easy to see out of and my favorite feature of the helmet.
