The Bauer Nexus 1000 hockey stick is the premier hockey stick in the Nexus stick line.  The Nexus hockey sticks focus on providing a balanced feel and quick, effortless releases with natural power.  The Nexus 1000 stick uses all of the top technologies from both the APX and TotalOne sticks making it a top performer.

The Nexus Tru-Mid Flex uses a softer handle and hosel to create more flexion and when combined with a stiffer mid section the Nexus 1000 delivers a quick natural release with power.  The Nexus Power Taper offers square double concave walls with a .520 taper to maximize loading with less twisting for more power and better control.  The Nexus 1000 stick uses Bauer's Monocomp Technology, a single molding process.  By removing any excess materials like over-lapping layers, resin, and foam waste, the balance of the stick is improved and the overall weight is reduced.  The Nexus 1000 stick features TeXtreme® which an ultra lightweight but very strong carbon fiber.  It is 20% lighter than the conventional carbon but just as strong.

Bauer has provided the Nexus 1000 stick with its Pure Shot Blade profile that expands the throat to increase blade rigidity resulting in a more powerful and more accurate shot.  The Nexus 1000 stick also features the Aero Foam II heel for improved balance and stability while the Power Core 3 maximizes power and feel.
