The Bauer Nexus 400 Hockey Shoulder Pads are the most affordable shoulder pads in the Nexus line. They offer great protection and comfort for recreational to intermediate level play.
The shoulder pad is constructed with a multi panel chest design that increases mobility, with a segmented foams that allow the pad to contour around your body. The Nexus 400 shoulder pads feature high density foam sternum protection and molded anatomical shoulder caps that help disperse impacts felt through collisions. The 400's also have molded poly bicep guards to add protection where the elbow pad stops. The spinal area also features high density foams, and dual density arch support.
The liner is made up of hydrophobic mesh that offers great comfort at the price point. The pad is held in place with dual 2.5" velcro straps around the front, and 1.5" velcro straps around the bicep guard to ensure the pad stays in proper place.
