Cut Protection Level

The Bauer Reflex RX10 Goalie Blocker is Bauer's to of the line hybrid style blocker in the Reflex line. The Bauer RX10 is handcrafted by hockey professionals in the JRZ Quebec Canada facility and is constructed from high quality materials that are built to last.
The Bauer RX10 is constructed from a high grade synthetic leather and various forms of internal padding offer pro level performance and protection. The RX10 blocker board has a curved profile which allows the goalie to have a full range of motion and great rebound control. The blocker board also tapers down at the bottom of the blocker allowing the blocker to lay flush against the playing surface when in the paddle-down position. The Reflex RX10 blocker uses a large side panel that uses a molded poly insert combined with HD foam to fully protect the side of the hand. Finger protection comes from the large segmented high density foam finger flaps that offers unrestricted movement while protecting your hand.
Bauer's design features on the Reflex RX10 blocker include beveled edges at the front portion giving the goalie better down play, and at the cuff allowing excellent wrist mobility. The Reebok blocker board positioning has been centered directly over the backhand offering excellent balance and feel. Bauer's Upplift System is being used on the Reflex RX10 giving goalkeepers an option of inserting a triangular shaped foam wedge behind the the back of the hand. The Upplift System is designed to help keep the blocker square to the shooter helping to make the save. Side hand and forefinger protection comes from the large one piece HD foam shield that completely covers the hand. Thumb protection has been enhanced by using a larger thumb guard and a seam has been added at the base of the thumb allowing your thumb to flex with less restriction. Additional hand protection comes from the split HD foam flaps that surround your fingers and are attached with elastic straps. The split HD foam flap design and elastic strapping allows improved mobility and increased protective coverage. An adjustable 1" leather velcro strap directly over the wrist locks the blocker in place.
The Bauer Reflex RX10 goalie blocker is an excellent piece of goalie equipment and offers professional level protection.
