The RE-AKT 100 features the innovative Supsend-Tech Poron XRD Liner, which helps to prevent rotational impact injuries. The RE-AKT 100's strapping system was designed specifically for the youth players. The chin strap utilizes a bicycle helmet buckle design that's a snap for the child or their parents to use.

The Supsend-Tech System moves independently of the triple-density base layer. This helps to reduce rotational impact force inflicted during an oblique hit, which is an angular hit that causes the head to spin. By slowing and reducing the rotational force, the RE-AKT 100 protects the brain better than traditional liners. 

For an optimal fit, Bauer gave the RE-AKT 100 a spring-loaded occipital lock at the rear of the helmet. This helps to secure and stabilize the helmet for superior comfort and protection. The two-piece shell features a tool-free adjustment, perfect for the players who are still growing.
