The Bauer Reactor 5000 Goalie Ice Hockey Skates provide solid performance and protection for use up to the intermediate level of competition.
The Reactor 5000 goal skate is constructed with a premium nylon quarter package that offers good lightweight support. The ankle on the Reactor 5000 has high density foam that helps protect the goaltender from impact while keeping the skate comfortable. The cowling provides goalies with sound protection and comfort, and has an exhaust vent located on the bottom near the outsole.
Bauer has used a comfortable moisture wicking liner to help keep the skate light and the foot dry. The removable 4mm stainless steel runner is easily replaceable, and provides a cheaper alternative to replacing the entire skate.
