The Bauer Reactor 2000 Goalie Leg Pads are new for 2013, with the Reactor replacing the Bauer Reflex line of goalie equipment. Since the original release date of the Reactor line of goalie pads in 1994, Bauer's completely redesigned their reactor line providing the right amount of performance and protection.

Synthetic leathers are used throughout the face and high wear areas of these pads ensuring good durability. Nylon and mesh materials are used on the inner side, able to wick away moisture while reducing the overall weight. The nylon, elastic and leather strapping system provides the precise customizable fit.

The Reactor 2000 goal pads feature lightweight construction and design for optimal performance. Bauer Reactor pads are constructed with a Pro Core insert giving the pads their square profile, maximizing the goaltenders blocking surface area. These goalie pads offer a fairly flat face design with slight raised vertical runs that improve shot dampening. The squared knee rolls on the Reactor 2000 leg pads help control rebounds because of the flat design. The outer roll has been optimized because of the triangular design, helping reduce the overall weight and improves puck deflections by directing pucks away from the goal. Three breaks in the outer roll offers maximum flexibility and mobility, ideal for active goalkeepers. Additional upper thigh protection comes form the removable NHL legal under-pant thigh protector. Ensuring the perfect fit, Bauer is using their (AKL) Adjustable Knee Lock system, maximizing fit and knee protection. The knee stack system keeps the goaltenders knee elevated, reducing the overall joint stress and allows for increased leg extension. Improved performance comes from the deep leg and boot channels, allowing the leg pads to contour the shin and skates for precise pad movements and control. The two-piece calf wrap design provides good calf protection from the leg straps as well as added comfort.

The Bauer Reactor goalie line offers superior agility and pure performance and has been designed for goaltenders that are more aggressive, challenging the shooter with every shot.

Comments: I have this pads for almost 3 months ago, practicing 3 or 4 times per week. They are comfortable, it's design allows you to split and to do butterfly with no hard time. It«s easy to get up with both legs in one time and cover the lowest part of the net. I recommend this pads if you play inline hockey for intermediate-advanced level.

Comments: I am a senior player 66 yrs old. I have had them for over a month. Great pads for the price. I play in 2 leagues and at least one practice a week. No visible wear and it didn't take long to break in. With my old pads it was hard to butterfly, but with these it is really easy. I had an old pair of reebok's so that was an issue but these feel great. With as much as I play, wear and tear may come up but so far no problem.
From: Gary, Spring Hill, FL

Comments: I have been using these pads for about a month now and I have to say that these are the best pads I have ever played in. I find them very easy to get from side to side in and I have no problem covering up my five hole. Rebounds do not seem to come near as far out as my old pads did. The pads are very light to boot and it is very easy to get up and down in these pads. Overall, I recommend these pads to any goalie just starting to the intermediate level. The pads look great as well on top of being very protective and light. Another great thing about these pads is that I thought I would have to break the pads in a lot but when I got them, they were already very broken in and I had to do little to make them to my liking. I very much recommend these pads.
