Comments: I bought these after taking a puck to the knee and the puck doing some damage. I felt as though these would be the best idea for me as they seemed to not have a lot of bulk to them while providing a good amount of protection. After using them for a few months however, these proved to not be my best idea. Since wearing these knee pads, I have taken 2 pucks to my right knee and 2 pucks to my left knee, all 4 of which were quite painful. All 4 were also straight on where there was padding and the knee pad had not moved at all. These knee pads have protected my knees from a few shots so it hasn't all been bad. I would recommend these pads for goalies who are facing lower level players such as C/D skaters. Any higher than that and you may want to consider buying something higher end.

Comments: I bought these after using the bigger bulkier reeboks and finding them not for me. The bauer reactors are great knee pads. I have been wearing them for probably about twenty skates. The best thing I can say about them is I hardly notice them. They stay in place and are very mobile. They also stand up very well to hard shots. I definitely recommend these to goalies who don't like the bigger bulkier knee pads. These definitely do the trick.
