Comments: I generally like Bauer's fit, and on most of their women's equipment I take a medium or large. According to Bauer's charts for the shoulder pads I should get a large: 5'7", 36" chest, medium build. However the large was SO enormous that to get it to fit around the ribs I had to pull the velcro completely across the front and fasten it to the far side. The molded chest pieces stuck out so far on the side that I could barely reach my arm across my chest. If I was shooting on my backhand I would lose about 8" of reach because they blocked my upper arm so much.

There is a little bit of adjustment possible between the two molded chest pieces, but it was more for expansion than reduction. It's probably best to buy a smaller size and let it out than try to pull in a larger size. I'm returning the one I bought and haven't yet decided whether to try the medium or go for the CCM model instead.
