The Bauer Supreme 170 Hockey Shin Guards offer great performance and protection at an even better price. These shin guards utilize an anatomical design that sits close to your leg for better mobility and responsiveness.
The Supreme 170's are outfitted with medium density foam reinforced with plastic inserts in the calf wrap and high density foams in the knee wings and joint guard for excellent protection. The ribbed shell is designed to disperse impact energies away from your legs to prevent injury. The shell is also ventilated to allow for more air to pass through and cool you down while you're skating. Remove the interior liner to dry out your shin quickly or wash it.

Comments: I've been using these for about a month now, and I really like them. I was using Vapor shinguards before this set. I like the way these wrap around better, and the knee pad feels much sturdier. If I had any complaint, it would be that they squeeze a bit when strapped on, but that is probably due more to being a bit overweight than anything. These are very solid pads so far. I've taken a few pucks off them, none super hard, without any issues. I have yet to really feel any sticks hit them. The knees cover nice, and feel really stable when falling and standing back up. I'm very happy with this purchase.
