The Bauer Supreme TotalONE NXG Shin Guards are the premier shin guard coming out of the Bauer Supreme line, so Bauer put all of their greatest technologies and materials in this pad. The most exciting piece is the addition of Poron XRD™ foam in the knee cap sling. Not only is this a comfortable memory foam but it's one of the most advanced and protective materials used in hockey.

The TotalONE NXG took the previous TotalONE shin guard to a whole new level. Aesthetically, it looks a lot better but the actual performance and protection level is where Bauer made big strides. The Vent Armor foam in the calf wrap, the Poron XRD™ foam in the knee cap sling, and the Max-Sorb™ knee cap protection makes this shin guard one of the most protective pads made to date. 

The NXG shin guard has a natural, close-to-the-body fit that others may call anatomical. There are many advantages to this new style of fit, one of the key ones being the immediate responsiveness of having a snug fitting pad. Other pads, especially traditional ones, will not respond to movements as quickly as anatomical pads because of the amount of negative space left open in traditional pads. A key aspect about anatomical fitting pads is that protection is not sacrificed with a low-profile pad.

The liner is the Thermo-Max+ that was seen in the previous TotalONE. It is soft to the touch, is very efficient at wicking away moisture and can be removed for washing/drying.
