Overview

The Bauer Supreme TotalOne ice hockey pants offer an excellent balance between added protection, reduced weight and improved mobility. The Supreme Total One pant features maximum energy-absobing F-ONE Shell Technology that sheds 120 grams from the overall pant weight.

Bauer has used a variety of materials on the shell of the Supreme TotalOne pants.  This pad features a large amount of abrasion resistant material increasing the overall durability.  The TotalOne features ventilated panels for increased air circulation.  This material is found mainly on the back of the pad with some in the front mid hip area.  This material is a dense fine mesh like material. Bauer has also used a large amount of stretch materials on this pant.  The TotalOne features stretch gussets on both sides of the lace closure, another one running from the front closure to the lower spine, and on both inner leg seams with zippers.  The TotalOne ice pant also features additional stretch gusset on the backside of the pad running from the inseam to the hip area.  This is a thinner stretch material that offers some increased breathability.

The TotalOne ice pants feature solid advanced protection with a couple different materials.  The Total One is the only ice pant in the Supreme line with MAX-SORB accompanied with Poron XRD foam.  MAX-SORB is a very light material that has great energy absorption, combined with Poron XRD foam for un-matched protection. This is found in the lower spine portion of the pad. The spine guard is adjustable allowing the player to customize the fit.

The Supreme TotalOne pant expands upon the heritage of the successful Bauer Supreme line of pants.

Comments: These pants fit great. I had the one75's and they lacked some protection in the tail bone area. These pants do not. Mobility is great as well as overall protection. The are a bit pricey but I am a big fan of you get what you pay for. I truly believe they are worth the money.

Comments: Love these pants! light, comfortable and protective. Best pants I've owned. The removable thing pad is excellent too. I had my team logo embroidered on to the thigh pad.

Comments: Best pants I have owned. They fit snug, I am a 36" waist and went to a medium pant. Once pulled up they can't / won't fall down without lacing them or using the closure. I can't say I would go to a large but if you have a bulky jock as opposed to a compression jock that would be the tipping point. I have wore them about 2 months with no problems.

Comments: The Total One Pant is the best of two worlds, protection and light weight. The combination of Poron and Max-Sorb foams in the hip,in the segmented kidney and tailbone give unmatched protection and keep this pant unbelievably lightweight and mobile. The split thigh pads extend around to the inside back of the leg to the stretch crouch area with low density foam reaching to the inside of the leg area, also offering great protective properties. The kidney The lower leg is a high abrasive resistant 820 Denier material with the upper part of the pant a mixture of 420 Denier and elastic stretch materials for great mobility of movement and ventilation. If that wasn't enough in features, the tailbone protector is also ajustable from the sides under the padded belt, for a closer to the body fit. The front closure is traditional skate lace up but also sports a clip belt closure that is adjustable from both sides. In my opinion this is one of the best pants on the market today and I highly re commend them for any level of hockey right up to pro level play.

Comments:  I bought these to replace a ten-year old pair of CCM pants and as a result I
have to preface this review with the fact that this is my first foray into higher end hockey
pants and as such my experience with other equipment within the price range is scant.  Be
that as it may, I am pleased but a little underwhelmed by these pants.  As another reviewer
stated they fit very snugly, which I like.  I thought the adjustable spinal support would feel
more supportive upon my lower back (which occasionally bothers me) and though it does
offer support, it isn't as supportive as I had hoped.  It sometimes feels more like it is
squeezing my midsection rather than being supportive (and the pants are not too small for
me either I am 5'11" 155 lbs and I purchased a Medium).  The quality of the materials is
good, but doesn't blow me away.  For the price they should be well made and if I'm
purchasing top shelf equipment I kind of expect to be wowed by the materials.  Worth
noting is the overall bulk of the pants.  They don't feel big and I have transitioned
seamlessly from my old pants (not always an easy thing to do) but the spinal support and
other padding on the rear of the pants adds considerable bulk.  It kind of looks like I have
on a fat suit (I expect hockey pads to be a bit bulky so it doesn't bother me but it may
matter to some).  To me, the ultimate test of quality is long term durability and I can't say
one way or the other how these pants will stand up to the test of time.  All I could say to
that end is so far, so good!
