Comments: Super fast break in, and comfortable and light weight skate. Boots are stiff and protective. I upgraded from the old Vapor XIV and i never missed a beat with these. Only baked once and they felt like an old pair of skates already. I strongly recommend this skate

Comments: I was concerned with the break in of a new skate. I know it needs to be done, but some skates are torturous to get comfy. Well, I am here to say that there is virtually NO BREAK IN period for these skates. I baked them before the first skate and 4 skates later I have yet to feel them on my feet. No blisters, no pain, none of the break in garbage. So...if this is any kind of concern to you before buying, I hope I eased your mind a bit. Being a new skate, I felt a bit awkward for about 10 minutes and that's it. Feels like I've been skating them for years. The skate flies. Super light and responsive. You really feel the ice. Might not be but...I feel much quicker and lighter on the ice. Two thumbs up!! Enjoy.
