Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Bauer Vapor X40 Limited Edition hockey gloves feature the same great build as the regular Vapor X40 glove, but are offered in limited edition color combinations.
The Bauer Vapor X40 hockey gloves offer great protection and range of motion. The X40 has the same design as the X60 glove with a couple of different materials.
Bauer has used a combination of synthetic leather and cable mesh for the exterior on the X40 glove. This offers great durability and a nice balance of breathability and lightweight feel.
For protection the X40 features dual density foams throughout the glove from fingers to cuff offering a great advanced level of protection. Bauer has also given the X:40 glove plastic inserts in the fingers for additional protection.
Bauer has used their Free Flex technology in the wrist and thumb for improved range of motion without sacrificing any protection.
