Overview
The Bauer Vapor X40 shoulder pads offers a fairly traditional design with solid protection with a low bulk feel.
Bauer has used a traditional single plate chest and spine design. There are several segments throughout the panels to help the pad contour to the players chest. The X40 shoulder pads feature Vent Armor foam in the upper part of the chest and spine, along with dual density foams to increase the level of protection.
Bauer has used the Thermo Max+ liner which is a great high-end that wicks moisture and a soft feel.
