Overview
The Bauer Vapor X5.0 elbow pads offer great protection at a reasonable price ideal for intermediate level play.
The X5.0 elbow pad features a more traditional two piece segmented design that separates the pad between the forearm and elbow guard for increased mobility. The X5.0 has plastic inserts in the slash guard and bicep guard to help offer additional protection.
Bauer has used a traditional three strap velcro elastic closure system and a Thermo Max liner for a soft, comfortable feel.

Comments: I upgraded my sons pads as he grew out of his old CCMs. The Vapor X5.0 has a great price point. He's used these pads for four months. The first couple months, he had one complaint. This elbow pad has three straps. The bicep and forearm fit fine. The middle strap at the elbow was too tight and my son just left it off. My son's very thin and I was surprised when he made this complaint. After three months, the strap started stretching out. He's now able to using the middle strap. By the fourth month, he's happier with the elbow pads. No complaints and he loves the look and feel of his Vapor X5.0s
