Overview

The Bauer Vapor X 5.0 Hockey shin guards offer a solid level of protection ideal for intermediate level play. The Vapor X 5.0 shin pad has a tapered fit design, perfect for players looking for a low bulk pad.

Bauer has given the X 5.0 shin pad a narrower profile than most shin guards on the market from the knee to shin area. The outer shells have a nice ribbed design that increases the overall strength of the pad. The X 5.0 features a removable liner that helps decrease drying time and adds a custom fit. The liner is a combination of comfort foams and Thermo Max material that offers a very comfortable feel.

Comments: I own these shin guards, and for their price, they are the best you can get. They are extremely light and protective. They offer both flexibility and they shield you from hard shots. They allow you to move around almost as if there were nothing on your leg, and they are very easy to adapt to. I took a shot in the right shin area and I felt
as if I had been tapped very slightly with a puck. It didnt feel like a 50 mile per hour shot had hit me in the leg. I would reccomend these to anyone who cannot afford a more pricey shin guard.
