The Bauer Vapor X50 Ice Hockey Skates are an excellent choice for the player just starting out but want a high quality skate. The Vapor X50 skate is constructed of a durable woven nylon that provides support while staying forgiving. The tongue is a traditional white felt tongue that protects the top of the foot and is comfortable too.

If you have flat feet for wide feet, stay away from these. Great for people with regular d feet.
After going to a different skate (CCM) because my foot was too wide, I switched right back. These skates are extremely light weight compared to other skates on the market...
Not the stiffest boot, but great for someone who already knows how to skate, and won't be plowing the ice. Got ip enough stiffness that it doesn't bend on you..
Break in time was pretty fast, say about 5 hours of skating ...
I would recommend these..
