The Bauer Vapor X7.0 hockey sticks offer essentially the same top of the line performance as the former X60 stick. The only difference between the X60 stick and Bauer X7.0 stick is the type of carbon. The X7.0 is made with 3K carbon which is a more traditional high-end carbon fiber. The Bauer X 7.0 stick features the same shaft dimensions, and Monocomp true one-piece construction as the Bauer APX stick.

The Bauer has continued to use the intelli-sense shot technology on the X7.0 stick. Bauer sought to create a stick that can do everything, from big slappers from the point, to dangling through the "D" and ripping a wristers past the goalie. The Intelli-sense shot technology, alters the flex of the stick based upon the type of shot you are taking.  This allows you to load up maximum energy on slap shots and one-timers while having an explosive low-kick point for wrist shots and snap shots.  Bauer is able to alter the flex by basing it on the lower hand placement on the shaft. This makes for a great all around stick.

The X7.0 features what Bauer is calling Pure Shot blade profile, which is additional material at connection point between the shaft and the blade. This increases blade rigidity offering pin-point shot accuracy.

Comments: Comments:Very disappointed in this stick. Bought this stiick for my 14 yo son and the blade started delaminating within 30 days. We received a replacement stick from Bauer and the same thing is happening in about 30 days again. Will not purchase this stick again!

Comments: Great stick, used it for a season so far so good. Shoots well and very
balanced stick. By far the best stick I have ever owned
From: Stefan, British Columbia, Canada

Comments: this stick amazed me! I loved the Bauer X60 and was very sad when I broke 3 APXs and I just wanted that x60 feel back! So I went out and bought a 7.0 and it was every thing I dream of in a stick if I may say so. It performed just like the APX and it has a softer blade so I could feel the puck a lot better. I went through 3 apxs in 9 months and I'm still on my first one of these after 7 months. This stick is defiantly one of my favorites
From: Michael

Comments: I received the 7.0 in the mail as a warranty stick. I was expecting the Bauer Vapor APX, instead they sent me the 7.0. My first thoughts were this isn't what I was expecting, however I played to big games with it and I fell in love. The feel and the accuracy and the pop this stick has is amazing. I was using an Easton RS which is also a very good stick, but now the Easton RS is my back up stick. The 7.0 is the best stick I have ever used! LOVE IT!!

Comments: I picked up the 7.0 off of a recommendation from a friend. I was just looking to find a decent backup stick for my reebok 11k. That planned changed the first time I had the 7.0 out on the ice.  The feel was better and shooting the puck was a dream. I couldn't believe the first shot that came off the stick, it was so easy to shoot, I barely had to put any force on the shot and the puck just flew off the stick. Now the 11k is my backup and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I'd reccomend this stick to anyone.
