The CCM Tacks 4052 Shin Guards see a large step-up in both comfort and protection in the Tacks shin guard line. The hard plastic (PE) shin guard molded design enhances its strength and protection, boosting its shot blocking effectiveness. The knee cap design features the JDP technology, dispersing the force of impact away from the knee joint. 

CCM placed extended medium-density inserts around the knee and in the calf wrap for protection, without sacrificing mobility. Additionally, there is an extra layer of medium density foam in the segmented calf wrap to guard the back of the leg and ensure an anatomical fit. The removable liner is constructed of a very comfortable microfiber, with additional foam padding in the lower shin. It features a knee cap cutout, so your knee will stay locked in place and providing the best possible fit. The 4052 shins use a two strap design, with a nylon strap that wraps around the shin guard and a large elastic strap to lock in the calf.
