The CCM Tacks 6052 Shin Guards provide maximum protective coverage while remaining lightweight and flexible. The CCM 6052's cap uses a molded hard plastic (PE) with JDP design, which disperses the impact away from the sensitive knee. 

The shin guard uses the same hard plastic shell with high density foams wrapped around the base for additional protection. On the back, the calf wrap features a molded PE insert with medium-density foams to protect the outside of the calf against slashes and shots. The 6052 shins have an adjustable thigh guard constructed of PE inserts and foams at the top of the pad.

The liner is made of a moisture wicking microfiber, which provides a cool, dry and comfortable fit. It also features a knee cutout which ensures that the leg stays in place. CCM uses a two strap system with a comfortable neoprene backed nylon strap wrapping around the shin, and a vented elastic strap securing the calf.
