The CCM Extreme Flex 400 Goalie Catcher offers the same "baseball-style" closure system as the junior and senior models with the benefit of the scaled down size and weight. This new closure system was developed for Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens and is a first for the Lefevres, designing the index finger to thumb closure system from scratch.

The Extreme Flex 400 catcher is constructed with PU leather throughout the face and high wear areas for durability. Backhand protection is wrapped in 400 denier nylon that helps reduce the overall weight and allows the goalie glove to dry out faster. Graphics and logos are silk screened with stitching, giving the catch glove a similar look as the high end models. CCM's detached cuff improves the goaltenders wrist mobility and allows the goalie to square up the catcher to the shooter for better net coverage. Internal protection comes from injection molded PE foams and molded plastic inserts, providing excellent shot dampening and protection from stingers. CCM's Suregrip inner palm area improves overall durability and maintains a textured grip for improved control even when wet.

The Extreme Flex catcher provides solid protection for youth ice hockey goalies playing up to the intermediate levels.
