The CCM JetSpeed 280 Ice Hockey Skates showcase a composite reinforced Action Form quarter package. This quarter package and it's SpeedCore inner core provide players with an excellent, contoured fit right out of the box that gets even better after they are heat molded. The JetSpeed 280 also debuts the injected SuperSkin outsole that has been indented to further increase stiffness and rigidity for more power.
The CCM JetSpeed 280 utilizes the same SpeedBlade 4.0 holder as the flagship JetSpeed skate. This holder has triangular SpeedRibs through the lower portion to help reduce twisting and torquing that occur during hard cornering. Internally CCM used multi-density memory foam ankle pads that help to secure a player's ankle into the heel pocket, preventing heel slippage. The thick white felt tongue is reinforced with injected foams and a lace-bite saddle for pro-like protection and comfort.

Comments: Big fan of ccm skates over bauer because I think they are better looking. Anyways, I have the reebok 28k and loved them, so I decided to upgrade to the new model ccm jested 280's. Right out of the box, I loved them. The narrower heel design makes the skate fit so much more personal and after baking them, they have exceeded my expectations. Obviously new skates are extremely stiff, but I really liked how well they performed the first week out of the box. I definitely notice how much lighter they are than my old skates and how I was totally confident in skating even with how stiff the new skates were. Once they break in a little more, they will be perfect. Glad ccm got rid of the pump system because I never thought the pump really helped, but I have to say, I kind of miss the lace lock. It takes some getting used to, but since I like my skates really tight, I actually grew to like the lace lock system. ccm jested 280's are amazing, and worth the price. They are at the perfect level where you know you are getting a high performance skate but not wasting any money going up to the higher models. Highly recommend!

Comments: I've been skating on these for about a year now. I've been playing hockey for many years now and these are by far the most comfortable skates I've ever owned. I've had Missions, Reebok pumps, and Bauer. For the price level of these skates they really feel like a high end skate, without the price tag. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a great skate for a reasonable price.

Comments: One of the best fitting CCM skates I have come across ,..secure your heel, lightweight , and a great looking skate. The Ice warehouse staff were outstanding helping me with the sizing , as I do not have any hockey supply outlets where I live , the staff Brooks, Curtis , and Amanda went the extra mile helping me. I love these 280 Jet speed 280's , even though i'm 57 years of age , I still enjoy playing.
