The CCM RBZ grip hockey stick features key innovations that put this stick in a class of it's own. A constant stiffness profile all the way through the shaft provides a customized kick point. CCM teamed up with Taylor Made to come up with the SpeedBlade Technology™, providing a very hot blade face making the puck fly off of your stick like a rocket.
The CCM RBZ hockey stick features CCM's Power Swing, a fine tuned weight and flex distribution providing a faster swing for more puck speed. The CCM RBZ hockey stick is a one piece stick and is wrapped with high grade carbon fibers making it very light and balanced. A constant flex profile all the way through the shaft provides a custom kick point depending on where your hands are placed on the shaft and the type of shot you are taking.
CCM and Taylor Made teamed up to create the SpeedBlade Technology™. The blade is hollow making it very light while giving it a lot of pop. 4 speed channels run the length of the blade, providing reinforcement while giving you good puck feel. High grade carbon fibers are wrapped around the blade making it stiffer and decreasing the blade deflection providing you with a more powerful and accurate shot. The CCM RBZ blade has so much pop, it's like the puck has a rocket strapped to it!

Comments: A stick is a very personal choice of equipment and what feels great for one person can feel like a stick in the mud for someone else. That being said, the RBZ stick is a pretty impressive piece of hockey technology that can definitely help anyone's game. The weight of the stick is in line with other top end sticks, which is to say light! I might not be the lightest but the weight of the stick will not be a problem. The custom flex profile is nice in that it allows people with varying shot styles to find what works best for them and can be more forgiving of people with hand placements that don't exactly follow the preset norms of low or mid kick point. The true gem of the stick is the much vaunted blade. It really does improve velocity and though it won't suddenly make you shoot lasers like Ovi or Chara, it will increase your shot velocity some. The puck feel isn't bad for a stick with no foam in the blade and is less pingy to me that many top end sticks that do have foam blades. The shaft is also boxy and square which some people may like and others may not. The stick has held up well to regular use for shooting, face offs, and digging in the corners. Sure, the white finish is beat up but that's a given if you plan on actually using the stick for more than just show. The stick is a solid tool to help you shot better and not a bad choice at all.

Comments: After many years of playing my parents finally allowed me to get my first piece of top of the line equipment. I chose the CCM RBZ Hockey Stick and the change is AMAZING! First, the stick looks sick. It reminds me of the first Mako with all the white. But the look also helps you score more goals. How? Well many goalies who were interviewed said a white stick looks "hidden" in the ice and makes it hard to see were the player is shooting for the goalie. One of the many things you will notice when you shot is the custom kick point. A kick point is where the stick flexes. An example is the total one's kick point is a mid kick point. For the RBZ it flexes were your hand is. This helps the stick adapt to your style of play. So this stick is great for virtually any position. Another thing you will notice while shooting is the blade. It is different from a lot of other sticks. CCM calls it their Revolutionary Speed Blade with 4 speed channels. This basically adds extra "pop" to your shots. The shaft also has rounded corners and CCM also claims it has a fast swing speed. To be honest I only found two cons. The first one is this is one of the heavier top of the line sticks. I noticed this when I tried the other top of the line sticks. I don't really mind this but I now a lot of players who do. The other is that the paint chips. Overall I really recommend this to anyone who want to "strap a rocket" to their shot!
