The CCM Tacks Grip Hockey Stick is the premier offering in the new Tacks Stick Line. This CCM Tacks stick is constructed with their premier carbon fiber that makes them very well balanced, very lightweight and allows them to get the puck to the net with tremendous power behind it. The Tacks hockey sticks come with a traditional mid kick point that is ideal for the player who likes to heavily load up and lean into their shots; regardless if it's a snap or a slap shot.

A stick with a ton of power is useless if it isn't accurate, which is why CCM heavily focused on building a blade that will stay true to it's target instead of opening up on big shots. Their new AttackFrame™ Blade features a stiff outer frame with two additional support bridges that run from heel to toe. This stiff and rigid design translates directly into deadly accuracy and precision with explosive shot power.

Comments: This stick is awesome I usually play with a low kick stick switching to this mid kick was a little different but man can you put some power in shots with this stick and so far it's been extremely durable

Comments: Playing strictly beer league these days I usually stick to 2-piece set-ups, if the shaft breaks I still have a perfectly good blade and vice versa. But with IWs stick sale + an extra 15% percent off I couldn't resist and I'm glad I couldn't! This stick is amazing, love the puck feel of the blade and the stick's balance overall. So far it also seems pretty durable, its withstood a couple of hefty beer league chops. Its also my first piece of CCM equipment since my HT452 bucket when I was playing 10u but for sure won't be my last!

Comments: I love this stick, the feel of the puck coming of the stick is so much different than any other stick I've ever used. Only downside of it for me is how thin the walls are it does unsettle me a bit, yet so far no problem! This coming from a 18U AA player.

Comments: Terrible, unless you can buy a new one every two weeks, the durability it just plain horrid. I play u-16 and I used this stick for 8 weeks 3 times a week and it broke. My APX 2 lasted 1 year with 5 uses a week and was lighter and had better feel and acuracy. Please consider another stick unless you have extra money to afford a new one every few weeks. Multiple of my friends had the same issue with this stick.

On the other hand it was decent while it lasted, but still not as good of performance as the APX 2. I'm not being rude here and just want you and whoever buys this to save money.

Comments: I love this stick. I have tried so many different sticks and curves in my life. I never really found a good all around stick that both my slap shot and wrist shot were good. The next best to this was my first RBZ which I had in a Landeskog curve and I loved it, but the custom kickpoint kinda hindered me.
As of today I was coming out of a Superfast and Nexus 8000. I got this Tacks in a 85 Landeskog. This stick has unbelivable control. The stiff blade allows you to feel the puck unlike any other stick out there. It also makes a very accurate shot. Very Happy with this stick and would recommend it to anyone!

If you hold the stick with your left hand at the top of the stick, then you use a (R) handed stick. If you hold the stick with your right hand at the top, then you use a left (L) handed stick. As stick size increases, the length and diameter of the shaft also increase.

The flex of a hockey stick is how stiff the shaft is. Youth sticks are 30-40 flex, Junior sticks are 45-55 flex, Intermediate sticks are 55-75 flex and Senior sticks are 75 - 110 flex.
If you want to look at all brands and/or want to search by general types of curves , then leave "Any Brand" selected. If you know which brand you wish to look at, select it and the following "Curve" tab will display specific brand curves to choose from.
Each curve brings forth different advantages: Toe curves are less common and are good for stick handling and shooting. Mid curves are the most popular and are recommended for beginners, they are good for puck handling, wrist and snap shots. Mid Heel curves are a combination of a mid and heel curves. Heel curves are good for slap shots, one timers, and back handers.
Choose between grip and non-grip coatings on the shaft. Grip texture allows for a more solid hold on the shaft while the non-grip coating allows the hands to change position more quickly.
Flex Profile:
Flex Profile
The low-kick flex profile is for the players looking for a quick shot release, ideal for wrist and snap shots. The mid-kick flex profile is for the player who puts a lot of lean into their wrist/slap shots and are looking for a powerful release on their shots. The variable-kick flex profile offers a constant flex profile allowing custom kick points depending on the placement of the player's lower hand.
Composite sticks are the most popular because they offer the best overall performance. Wood is the traditional material and offers the best puck feel. ABS is used in the blades to add durability for playing on rougher surfaces like concrete and asphalt.
