The CCM Tacks 6052 Ice Hockey Pants are great for the player looking for a high level of protection without paying the top model price. Made of a durable premium nylon with strategically located abrasion panels, these pants are built to last. The key flex zones and pad layout ensure that mobility is not sacrificed. Finally, the moisture wicking mesh and premium microfiber liners work to provide comfort with the protection. 

CCM uses a floating spine guard made of high-density foam for lightweight back protection. This connects to the segmented tailbone protector that contours to the body, providing optimum protection with foams and hard plastic (PE) inserts. The 6052 pants also feature molded PE kidney protectors that wrap around each side of the body. The hip caps use CCM's JDP design, which disperse the force from impacts away from the fragile hip joint. Down in the lower thigh pads, CCM uses a thick medium-density foam on the interior of a molded PE cap for protection and comfort. 

Unlike previous models in the Tacks line, the 6052 uses an internal belt system attached to the tailbone protector in order to give you a closer and more responsive fit. In addition, the groin guard is integrated into the shell to enhance performance and this is wrapped up in the front by a traditional lacing system. CCM offers a genius 1" extension option with a zipper underneath the padded padded belt, for the taller players or those looking for looser fit. Another customizable feature is the zipper found in the lower thigh for wider fit.
