Overview
The CCM Tacks Hockey Shin Guards are perfect beginner shin guards for the young ones just starting out on the rink. The hard plastic shell of the Tacks shin guard protects the knees against falls and errant sticks that come with youth hockey.
To protect the calf, the Tacks use a foam calf wrap and an elastic strap to lock the shin guard into place. Underneath the knee cap, CCM places a nylon wrapping strap to secure the pad. Additionally, the soft mesh nylon will make sure that the player stays cool and comfortable throughout the game.
