Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The CCM U+ Crazy Light shin guards are the premier shin guard from CCM. The name speaks for itself, these shin guards are extremely light, yet highly protective for advanced level play.
Important Video Note: This video was shot using the specs found on the Sr size shin guard. CCM's new U Foam material was not used in the construction of the Jr size as the video states.
HD foam is being used on the thigh guard and calf wrap and the anatomical shell design and vented caps help disperse direct impacts while providing maximum breathability. New to the CL shin guard is a neoprene lined knee segment in the liner that keeps your knee in the proper position at all times.
CCM's cross straps hold the shin guard in proper position for a tight feel. The cross straps run diagonally across the back of the calf padding to reduce irritation while holding the shin guard in place for maximum protection. The inner removable comfort liner is attached with velcro and can be adjusted for a custom feel and added comfort.
